Forum Post: Problem listing/auto complete of column names Oracle 11g + Eclipse 4.2.2/4.3.1 on MacOSX

I added the Toad extension version 1.9.2 to my eclipse environment and I can connect to the database(s) however when viewing the describe object view none of the column information or data in the table(s) are available.  I have tried connecting with various drivers (ojdbc14.jar, ojdbc6.jar, etc.) but to no avail.  I also tried to set things up on a fresh copy of Kepler but no luck there either.  Please let me know if there are any additional ways to debug the plugin or if I may have missed a setup step.  I did not walk through all the setup steps involving setting up the instant client for OS X as that should really only be needed for thick client OCI connections and these are all thin client connections.  Also, I am able to see all the related metadata using SQL Developer including column metadata so I do not believe it's some issue with the database.
