Hello, I'm trying to connect to oracle database with my newly installed toad extension for eclipse. I'm using the 'Use client' option and give him C:\Oracle\Dev10g\network\admin\tnsnames.ora file. When pressing TestConnection Button it tells me 'Connection is OK'. But when i confirm the dialog with OK Button, it runs forever with progress bar 'configuring connection performance'. When i abort the progress bar it tells me the following: C:\Oracle\Dev10g\BIN\ocijdbc10.dll: Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform What exactly does this mean. And why it tells me first 'Connection is OK'? BTW,I'm connectiing my PL/Sql Developer using this tnsnames.ora file and it works fine. Any help appreciated.
