Hi Lukas, Thanks for your response. The database is PostgreSQL 9.5.3 and OS is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS . Yes, I can see the functions in the Object Explorer and open them in view mode only. I am unable to edit or format the functions inside the Source editor. I tried disabling Format script on load but it still behaves the same. I noticed though that when I right click and select Format , the Source editor does show up as modified with an asterisk to the beginning of the function name and I get the Save Resource dialog box. However, I am neither able to edit the function as in typing into the Source Editor nor does it Format the code. Further, if I select Formatting-> UpperCase or Lowercase it works fine - the source code does change case. But if I want to use an external XML or OPT/INI file or just the Default mode to Format, it doesn't work. I guess it is some kind of a bug... Note that I am using Eclipse Neon. Kind regards, Nitin
